I want to upload a wreck

Sign in as an organisation owner or admin. Open the organisation, choose Wrecks, then Add wreck. Save the record before uploading its GLB, .3tz or 3D Tiles ZIP.

Requires an organisation owner or admin account.

I want to open or join a room

Open a Public room directly, or choose Join by Code for an Unlisted room. Neither needs an account. A Private room asks you to sign in as a member.

I want to move around a wreck

Double-click a feature to make it the centre. Drag to orbit around it and scroll or pinch to move closer.

I want to measure something

Select MEASURE in the bottom-right, then click the two ends of the feature. Only use the distance when the model has reliable scale.

Guests can measure locally. Sign in when the line needs to synchronise with everyone.

I want to record an observation

Right-click the visible feature, choose Add annotation, write the observation and uncertainty, then Save.

Sign in to create or edit persistent annotations.

I want to enter VR or AR

Open the room in the headset browser, then select ENTER VR or ENTER AR at the bottom centre.

Guests can explore Public and Unlisted rooms. Sign in to share headset pose and tools with other participants.

I want the desktop to follow a headset

Click that headset in the bottom-left participant list. The desktop follows it until you click the same participant again.

The presentation computer and headset must be signed in.

I want everyone to see this view

Open the participant controls, add the intended people to the share set, then choose Share view now. They receive the camera once and remain free to move.

View sharing works between signed-in participants.

I want to download a room

Open the room settings, select Download, review the models, then Prepare export. Keep the status page open until the ZIP is ready.

Requires a signed-in account allowed to manage the room.

I want to run BelowVR privately

Open BelowVR Local, create or select a profile, then Start BelowVR. Use the launcher’s local, USB or private-network address.

I want to deploy my own BelowVR

Use the Docker release: create .env and secrets, start Compose, create the administrator, then enable the HTTPS profile.

I want two AR headsets in the same space

Enter the same AR room on both headsets. Place each blue left anchor and orange right anchor at the same two physical points.

Sign in on both headsets so anchors, poses and model movement synchronise.
