Host a guided virtual dive or presentation
Put people into the same room, guide them with your torch, and use the desktop view to follow what each headset sees.
Before you start
- A room containing the wreck and evidence you want to discuss.
- At least one headset and a desktop display for rehearsal.
- The guide and anyone using follow, view sharing, measurements or annotations must be signed in. Guests can still open Public or Unlisted rooms and explore independently.
Open the same room on every device
Open the room on the presentation computer and each headset. Enter VR on the headsets, then check the participant list in the bottom-left of the desktop viewer. Each signed-in browser or headset appears separately. Name devices clearly if several people use the same account. Guests can view the room but do not appear as controllable participants.
Orient everyone at the whole wreck
Let people look around before directing them. Bring the group to one recognisable starting view, point out bow and stern, and confirm that everyone can move and see the other participants. Once they are in the room, you can guide them without restarting or loading a separate presentation.
Guide with the torch
In VR, use Dive mode and the torch to point at the feature you are discussing. The visible beam is easier to follow than verbal directions and lets you wave to gather attention. Move at audience speed. Point, pause, explain, then let people inspect the feature themselves.
Follow a headset on the presentation screen
Keep the room open on the desktop display. Click a headset in the bottom-left participant list to follow it; click again to stop. The audience now sees that participant’s movement on the large screen while the headset wearer keeps natural head rotation and room-scale movement.

Choose follow or a shared view
Use Follow when the display should move continuously with a participant. Use Share view when everyone needs one starting camera position but should then move independently. You can also ask participants to follow the guide for a tightly directed section, then release them for inspection.
Work on the same evidence
Measurements and annotations appear for everyone in the room. Place a measurement or open an annotation while the group watches, then invite another participant to inspect the same endpoints or marker. Finish by stopping follow and returning to the whole wreck so nobody is left attached to another device.
